英语写作是衡量大学生英语水平与应用能力的重要指标, 也是大学四六级考试的重要内容。而且四六级考试, 如果学生作文得零分,总成绩是不及格的。然而写作对许多考生来说是最头痛的事情, 他们感到很茫然, 写作文时不知道如何下笔, 或是写出的作文与题目不符, 这就很难取得好成绩。以下是考生在写英语作文时一般会遇到的几种困难:

一是: 有些学生没有作文框架的意识。大学英语四级考试一直在朝标准化客观化努力, 因此我们的大学英语四级作文部分是一种控制性写作, 而且往往会给出一个三点( 间或是两点) 的提纲。但是我们有些学生压根儿没有看题目中给出的提纲, 有的想标新立异, 有的想另起炉灶, 结果是写出只有一段的或者是八段的”惊世骇俗之作”。可想而知, 阅卷教师对于这种没框没架的作文是什么样的态度的。

二是: 有些学生没有作文内容的意识。当看到作文题时, 我们当中有些学生见到某些不太熟悉的话题就觉得无话可说了。他们会觉得让他们用汉语来写这篇文章都困难重重。而且大学英语四级作文大多数都是论说文文体, 往往会让大家去分析原因, 说明利弊, 举出事例, 预测未来, 提出建议等等。他们觉得无法去分析原因, 无法去举出事例, 也无法去提出建议。另外有部分学生想向阅卷教师倾诉衷肠。他们想利用精彩的内容来打动阅卷教师, 从而获得作文高分。但是往往事与愿违, 因为阅卷老师不会, 而且永远不会因为你的“精彩内容”给你高分。说得更明白一些, 那些花了老半天想出来的观点和例证其实阅卷教师也许早就看了好几百、好几千份了。

三是: 有些学生没有语言亮点的意识。考生朋友们应该始终牢记这一点: 大学英语四级作文考试是一种语言考试。因此, 语言质量是第一重要的, 也是最终的目的。我们当中有些学生没有一种写作词汇和句型的概念。往往会在一篇短短的四级作文中重复使用诸如像“think, believe, important”之类的词汇,和诸如“Some people think..., Some people think..., I think..., Do you think so?”这样的文章, 如果去掉相同的词汇就剩不了几个词汇了。像这样的作文又怎么能够拿到高分呢?

鉴于以上几种困境, 考试中要注意应用以下几个对策:1.提高框架意识。拿到作文题目后, 一定要认真审题。一般在四级考试中,作文都给出了简短的中文提纲, 写作时一定要按提纲的要求去写, 提纲叫怎么写, 就怎么写。我们要把提纲看成是几个简答题, 一个题目用一个段落来回答, 这样的作文就会段落清楚, 有明显的开头、主体和结论部分。写的过程中也不会为分段大伤脑筋, 更不会象记流水帐一样, 一段到底。这就会给教师留下很好的印象。同时在文章写作过程中, 一定要学会使用一些句子之间以及引起和结束文章时候的连接词, 这样的话可以使文章很自然、流畅。

2.主动意识的培养。与词汇、阅读等客观题型相比, 写作部分需要大家充分利用自己的主动性。大家应该明白, 写作的时候, 笔是握在我们自己的手中的, 而且阅卷教师也只可能看到我们作文答题纸上的内容。因此, 我们可以自由地选择我们能力所及的表达形式, 自由地选择我们能够表达的内容, 从而避免自己给自己挖陷阱, 避免自己跟自己过不去。平时多关注社会热点问题和与学生生活相关的话题。熟悉并掌握我们在课堂上反复训练的“万能理由”。课下应该多去尝试运用所学去思考一些常见的话题。写文章时候尽量多用一些四级词汇, 这样也可以提高教师的印象。但不是说你用的词很多, 而写出的句子结构、语法错误太多。这样也会很糟糕的。因此大家一定要注意, 如果自己词汇不怎么多的时候, 你不要用自己不明确和不会拼写的词。还有一定要确保句子的正确性, 尽量避免语法结构的错误。即使你使用的简单句, 但是写得很清楚, 没任何错误, 也可以得到不错的分数。

3.语言亮点的制造。下笔之前就要想到千变万化, 变化多端。试想, 阅卷教师面对一大堆的作文试卷焦头烂额、倦意正浓之际, 突然看到一份三段式的作文, 卷面干净整洁, 语言流畅得体, 他一定会给打高分。大家拿到作文题目之后, 先要仔细阅读题目明确作文的类型。这一点是非常关键的, 因为四级作文相对很强调作文的结构。如果没有一个很清楚的结构, 一定会失去一定的分数。四级作文一般有下面三种结构: 说明文、议论文和应用文写作。说明文主要可以分为阐述主题类型的、利弊类型的、原因结果类型的、解决问题类型的以及谚语说明类型。议论文主要是就观点进行反驳类型的。应用文写作主要包括演讲词、求职求学信、邀请信、感谢信和投诉信等。所以大家必须在平时复习的过程中明确各种类型的写作结构, 这样在考试时候就可以在结构上不会出现任何问题, 也不会因为写跑题而失分。再有就是要注意文章的长度安排, 短的作文一定是不可以的,也就是字数要达到要求。但是长的作文如果几乎每句话都有错误也不能得到好的分数。所以大家一定要注意, 写的时候要长度适中, 确保写出的句子错误很少, 即使观点只是很一般,没什么新的地方, 也能得到相对好的分数。
