What is success? It is what everyone is longing for.Sometimes success would be rather simple. Winning a game is success; getting a high grade in the exam is success; making a new friend is success; even now I am

standing here giving my speech is somehow also success.

However, as a person’s whole life is concerned, success becomes very

complicated. Is fortune success? Is fame success? Is high social status success? No, I don’t think so. I believe success is the realization of people’

s hopes and ideals.Nowadays, in the modern society there are many people

who are regarded as the successful. And the most obvious characteristics of hem are money, high position and luxurious life. So most people believe that s success and all that they do is for this purpose. But the problem is wether it is real success. We all know there are always more money, higher position and better condition in front of us. If we keep chasing them, where is the end? What will satisfy us at last? Therefore, we can see, to get the real Success we must need something inside, which is the realization of

people’ hopes and ideals.

Different people have different ideas about success; cause people’s hopes and ideas vary from one another. But I am sure every success is dear to everybody, cause it is not easy to come by, cause in the process of our striving for success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhile we are enlightened by the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and sense of responsibility. These are the best treasures. So now I am very proud that I have this opportunity to stand here speaking to all of you. It is my success, cause I raise up to challenge my hope.

What is success? Everyone has his own interpretation as I do. But I am sure

I can have small goal or great aim in my whole life. If the goal what I set is too large for me, I will not taste the feeling of success. Therefore, I think if I can be better than yesterday or last time, then I am successful.

We are always trying to find the way to success, which stands for power, pride and glory. There have been strings of stories of success I was told since I was a child. From then on, I have been fascinated with being successful.

Whatsuccess? Different people have different opinions towards this question. To start with, some people, such as accountants, workers and so on, are longing for being rich, which allows them buy what they want, and enjoy luxury. They treat it as success. Furthermore, some contestants, such as boxers, are always trying their best to defeat their rivals for success. And once they win, they confirm that they are stronger than others. As far as I am concerned, life is short, and we must achieve something during our life. So I regard striving and working hard important. When comes to we reap what we sow, it’s the time of success.

(一) 梦想, 人生的航标

我们习惯于把梦想赋予很多含义, 但是关于梦想, 我们每个人都要有自己明确的地位。成为马, 马夫, 还是主人, 完全在于我们自己。我给大家讲这个故事的目的就是想告诉大家:一定要拥有梦想, 并成为梦想的主人。

2014年9月底, 我踏上了漫漫求职路。像所有将要毕业的大学生一样, 满怀激情和梦想。便开始关注学校的就业信息网, 社会招聘网站以及知名公司官网招聘通道, 搜寻职位信息。准备了一份自己自认为还不错的简历, 偶尔修修改改。开始注重自己的着装, 努力从一名工科男转变为职业人。一切, 都只是所谓的准备。但是适合我的路, 到底在哪里?

我在大学学的是软件工程, 按道理来说我只要找个技术开发类的工作真的不难, 而且高薪。但我还对互联网特别感兴趣;也懂一点电子商务;会一些互联网营销;曾经还在创业团队作过市场运营总监;大三下学期在无锡国家软件园实训的时候学的是Android开发技术;大四一年在一家外企实习期间做的是软件测试……在很多人看来, 我拥有这么多的实习实践经历, 找一份工作不是什么问题。但问题是:正是因为这么多的经历, 这么多的想法, 导致我一开始根本不知道自己要做什么?我相信这也是很多求职新人遇到的问题, 也许你身怀绝技, 但是没有方向的航母只能称之为一块铁板。

(二) 尝试, 百折不挠的探路者

2014年9月30日, 美的集团在学校宣讲, 但我在回家的火车上, 我托同学帮我投了一份简历。国庆假期结束后我收到了美的的面试通知, 这是我应聘的第一家公司, 所以收到面试通知时候还是非常激动。第一轮面试表现还行, 顺利通过。第二轮面试之前自己做了充足的准备, 面试时候表现很好, 跟美的的经理聊得很开心。我给他讲我智能家居的构想和新型电子商务平台模式, 他很感兴趣。面试快结束的时他告诉我准备把我推荐到美的的电商技术部, 说他们电商技术部特别需要我这样的人, 既懂技术, 又懂平台, 还懂模式。最后在我名字后面打了一个星号, 我心里窃喜, 感觉我自己没问题了。之后一天, 两天, 三天……过去了, 终于还是过了美的官方公布的最终录用名单公布的期限, 可是我还是没有接到任何通知。也就是说, 我的第一次应聘失败了。

2014年10月11日, 我接到了华米科技的面试通知。这家公司是现在火的一塌糊涂的小米科技的合资公司, 专为小米生产智能可穿戴设备, 小米手环就是他们做的。小米科技在全国有几十家子公司, 目的是以这些公司为平台复制小米模式, 华米科技就是其中之一。在当时小米模式几乎引领国内互联网浪潮的大背景下, 能进入一家小米合资公司去感受、学习、实践小米模式是相当具有诱惑力的。我之前是一个互联网创业团队的联合创始人之一, 在其中一直做市场运营工作, 创业时候研究过很多电子商务以及市场运营模式。所以这次面试华米的市场运营岗对我来说没有太大的问题, 结果也跟我想得差不多。在最后一轮的面试末尾, 公司的负责人给了我口头承诺:下周就可以来入职, 工作地点可以在合肥, 也可以去北京。当时心里乐开了花, 感觉自己终于能如愿以偿了。可是冷静下来的时候才意识到问题, 我们软件工程专业实行“3+1”的教学模式, 意思是说我们专业的学生前三年在校内学习, 大四最后一年全部在公司实习。我当时正在一家外企实习, 这个实习也是有协议的。假如我按照他们负责人所说的做, 下周去入职。我实习公司这边怎么办?虽然只是实习, 但我自己不想违背约定, 不想影响学校的声誉, 实习公司对我也很好, 能学到很多东西。总之, 不能走也不想走。我又扪心自问了一下:“我真的很认同小米模式吗?”结果我很难对自己说“Yes”。最后, 我就委婉地拒绝了。虽然自己婉拒了这家公司, 但这是我求职经历中第一次被认同, 所以心里还是非常愉悦的。

2014年10月15日左右, TCL集团来学校校招。我那天从实习公司请假专程去参加TCL的宣讲, 最终决定应聘它的电商技术部。由于上次面试美的集团电商技术部失败, 说实话, 在第二次面试同样的岗位的时候心里还是会有点心有余悸。没办法, 我只能以更充足的准备去战胜心里的恐惧。最终我以出色的表现顺利拿到了TCL的Offer, 这是求职近一个月来拿到的第一张Offer。可是, 后来偶然得知TCL的电商技术部在广州。家里人不太想让我去那么远的地方工作, 所以也被迫放弃了。后来回想的时候发觉, 在面试TCL的经历中自己学到了很多面试的技巧, 表达能力也提高不少, 为以后的面试做准备。

2014年10月底的一天, 当时正在实习公司上班, 我接到了同程网络科技股份有限公司 (以下简称“同程网”) 的电话面试, 而且是在我毫无准备的情况下。我当时甚至忘了我具体什么时候投递的简历, 我只知道我很喜欢这个公司。然后就一直在一种很紧张的状态下参加了所谓的电话面试, 结束后才发觉自己表现的差强人意。但是没办法, 相比于其它提前通知的面试, 你可以做一些准备, 但对于突如其来的电话面试, 你能做的只有应变。第二天傍晚, 我接到了同程网的电话, 说我已经顺利通过电话面试。让我认真准备接下来的终极城市面试, 并让我挑选面试地点。我当时就有一种自信, 那就是我一定能进同程!大公司的面试地点一般都在高校比较集中的城市, 就如:北京, 上海, 武汉, 西安, 南京等, 同程网也不例外, 我选择了离我最近的南京。由于同程在全国是巡回招聘, 按照招聘计划我接到面试通知跟终极城市面试的时间整整相隔了一个月之久。作为全国三大OTA (在线旅游机构) 之一的同程网, 我真的很喜欢。但等待是最煎熬的, 才等了不到一周我就有点不耐烦。工作不想找, 招聘会也不愿去参加, 我跟以前一向积极主动的我好像是变了一个人, 心里满满的负罪感。最终, 我决定还是要做点什么。之后我花了一个月的时间, 不断的研究同程网的移动客户端和官方网站, 同时通过跟它的竞争对手对比发现了很多问题。之后花了大概半个月的时间写了一份名为“同程网用户资源及移动互联网入口分析”的报告书, 报告书中列出了我所发现的那些问题, 并给出了解决方案, 总共30多页。12月6号时候我去南京参加同程网的终极城市面试, 我在面试结束后向面试组提交了这份报告。结果是我在面试后的第一个工作日早上就接到了同程网的通知, 邮件里说Offer已经发出, 让我再等等。因为喜欢挑战, 所以选择了管理培训生;因为热爱互联网, 所以选择了产品经理。

12月中旬的时候, 无锡的一家外企给我打了很多次电话让我去实习, 实习三个月后入职。我问那边负责人为什么这么想让我去他们公司?他告诉我两个原因, 第一:我大三小学期时候在无锡国家软件园参加过技术开发实训;第二:我有一年的外企实习经验。但当时我已经跟同程网签约, 只能跟无锡的这家外企说Sorry了。不过那时候才真真切切的感觉到:原来实习这么重要。

说到现在, 不妨纵观一下我的求职经历。从美的集团到华米科技, 再到TCL, 再到科大讯飞, 再到京东商城, 再到同程网, 最后到无锡的那家外企……从软件测试到软件开发, 再到电商技术, 再到市场运营, 再到产品经理……其实就是一个探索的过程。难道我一开始就知道我能做产品经理吗?当然不是。你选择了尝试, 就意味着你要经历无数次的失败, 还有数不清的冷嘲热讽。同时也意味着你将会从一个菜鸟变成翱翔蓝天的雄鹰。如果你一时间找不见自己的求职方向, 那就去不断地尝试。不要惧怕失败, 如果你不尝试, 你就连失败的机会都没有。

(三) 坚持, 新定义的成功

2014年12月6日去南京参加同程网终极城市面试的时候偶遇一个同来参加面试的北方某高校的应届生, 跟他聊天的时候感觉他跟我一样, 特别喜欢同程, 特别热爱互联网。他悄悄告诉我南京是他参加同程网面试的第六站了, 也就是说他之前五次应聘同程均失败。他一开始从大连出发, 后来到了北京, 西安, 成都, 武汉, 最后到了南京, 南京是同程网校园招聘的最后一站。同程网的校园招聘团队到哪里, 他就跟到哪里。他告诉我:“虽然每次都因为这样那样的原因遭遇着失败, 但他也能感觉到自己一直在进步……”

最后我也无法得知他到底有没有如愿进入他最爱的同程网, 但是从他身上我看到非常闪亮的一点, 那就是对于梦想的坚持。对于他、对于我们每个求职者, 成功不能再仅仅以是否应聘成功去衡量。我从一开始就说了, 人们喜欢把梦想赋予各种各样的含义, 但坚持才永远是梦想的灵魂。如果你对梦想连最起码的坚持都没有, 凭什么指望它给你回报?

篇4：我的成功我定义

Here’s some insight that I’ve had about success； you can’t be successful at everything. We hear a lot about talk about work-life balance. Nonsense！ You can’t have it all. You can’t. So any vision of success has to admit what it’s losing out on， where the element of loss is. And I think any wise life will accept， as I say， that there’s gonna be an element where we’re not succeeding.

And the thing about a successful life is that a lot of the time our ideas of what it would mean to live successfully are not our own. They’re sucked in from other people， chiefly， if you’re a man， your father， and if you’re a woman， your mother. 2）Psychoanalysis has been drumming home this message for about 80 years. No one’s quite listening hard enough， but I very much believe that that’s true. And we also suck in messages from everything from the television to advertising to marketing， etc. This is， these are hugely powerful forces that define what we want and how we view ourselves. When we’re told that banking is a very respectable profession， a lot of us want to go into banking. When banking’s no longer so respectable， we lose interest in banking. We are highly open to suggestion.

So what I want to argue for is not that we should give up on our ideas of success， but we should make sure that they are our own. We should focus in on our ideas and make sure that we own them， that we are truly the authors of our own ambitions， because it’s bad enough not getting what you want， but it’s even worse to have an idea of what it is you want and find out at the end of the journey that it isn’t， in fact， what you wanted all along.

So I’m going to end it there， but what I really want to stress is， by all means success， yes， but let’s accept the strangeness of some of our ideas. Let’s 3）probe away at our notions of success. Let’s make sure our ideas of success are truly our own.
