一、在初中英语教学中实施“爱的教育”的重要性

(1) 没有明确英语课堂教学目标, 教学效率比较低, 不注重情感教学。在新课程的标准下, 英语老师在课堂教育中往往过于追求营造课堂气氛, 在英语课堂上对一些话题的铺垫和延伸过于繁多, 因而出现了英语课堂教学中主次不分、本末倒置的混乱现象, 在课堂上对学生的情感教育以及心理教育不足, 甚至有些教师认为英语课堂不需要实施情感教育, 从而造成英语课堂教育中没有“人情味”
(2) 英语教学情感教学缺乏针对性。在新课程背景下, 中学英语课堂教学的前期备课缺乏针对性。前期的备课形式不够科学, 造成在课堂实施情感教育时, 不能达到预期的效果, 甚至是照抄现成的教学方案, 没有根据教材要求和学生的实际需求备课, 因此教学方案缺乏可操作性、可观察性和可测量性。
三、在初中英语教学中“爱的教育”实施策略
1、关心学生, 突出学生的主体地位
在中学英语教学中, 教师在对学生展开爱心教育时, 一定要充分利用好课堂教育。以教材为主要内容, 让学生在学习的过程中潜移默化地了解什么是爱, 才能有效实施情感教育, 首先我们应该摒弃传统的教与学的学习方式, 让学生参与到教学中来, 对教师的教学任务进行分组分担。也就是说, 让学生扮演教师的角色在课堂上进行实验教学, 我们教师可以当学生在下面对学生进行恰当的指导, 这样能够让学生更深刻英语解所学内容, 成为学习的主人, 并对教学和学习中遇到的各种问题和疑惑进行积极主动的探索和解决, 从而促进学生英语学习兴趣的有效提高。苏霍姆林斯基曾经说过:“兴趣是所有智力方面的工作赖以进行的基础[2]。”因此, 作为中学英语教师, 我们应该让学生积极主动地参与到课堂教学中来, 将学生的主体地位真正体现出来, 只有这样才能激发学生的英语学习兴趣, 培养学生的探索与创新精神, 促进课堂效率的显著提高。
2. 实施情感教育, 提高英语教学的有效性
课堂教学的有效性能够落到实处关键在老师能够很好地鼓励学生, 使学生提高学习自信心。初中时期, 学生的生理和心理方面都得到了发展, 自我意识逐渐增强, 有着强烈的自尊心, 尤其是那些特别有上进心的学生, 他们都希望自己的老师能够给予自己更多的信任和鼓励。这种信任和鼓励能够增加他们学习的内在动力。所以, 英语教师要认真寻找学生身上的优点, 对他们进行鼓励, 促进他们自信心的提高, 帮助他们更好地学习英语, 那么教师如何树立学生的自信心呢?比如, 在提问学生问题的时候, 学在答不上来的情况下, 教师可以给出学生一些提示, 鼓励学生在努力地想一想, 或者是把问题的难度稍微降低一点点, 这样学生有可能回答出来, 这样不但不会挫伤学生的自信心反而会对和谐师生关系的建立有一定的帮助。创造和谐轻松的课堂氛围, 能够激发学生的思维以及灵感, 能够带给学生愉悦的心情[2]。当学生给出的答案并不完整时, 教师也要加以表扬和鼓励。比如, 你可以告诉学生说:“you are very clever!”、“You are excellent”、或者“Great”等, 老师的语言对学生具有非常重要的意义。一位好的英语老师总是能够利用自己语言的魅力和学生进行心灵上的沟通。鼓励学生也可以通过批改学生的英语作业的形式, 把老师要说的鼓励性语言以书面的形式展示给学生。比如老师可以写“If you are more careful, you are sure to become an excellent student”, 为了鼓励学生把字写好, 老师可以在作业上批注“If you insist on practicing handwriting for a time, your handwriting can be improved a lot”。采用教师鼓励学生的课堂教学模式可以有效地提高英语教学的有效性。
