本节课是一节阅读课,主要讨论文章的主人公Jenny和Brain通常上学的方式及上学途中经过哪些地方他们最喜欢的地方又是哪些,他们是否在上学途中在他们喜欢的地方停留等一系列问题开展的一节阅读课。重点突出上学途中不能停留否则就会耽误上学这一价值观。本节课我是先向几名同学提问问他们经常怎样上学。他们的上学路线及喜欢的地方,并问他们是否可以在上学途中停留来导入新课的。就个人认为导课很顺利,也很成功。但不足之处就是本节课有两个环节设计的不够到位。一,在导入新课后,就应借机为什么不能在上学途中停留让学生说出原因后刚好和课后练习题第三题联系起来训练一下Because引导的原因状语从句.这样教学环节才流畅。二,本文学习结束后再将导课时提的问题将人称换成Jenny和Brain来复习一下Jenny和Brain他们经常怎样上学。他们的上学路线及喜欢的地方,他们是否在上学途中在他们喜欢的地方停留。这样才更能体现本节课的主题和教学环境的完整性。

本人有幸在咸阳市“名师大篷车”送教下乡活动中执教了Happy Thanksgiving!一课,这是冀教版八年级英语上册第三单元第4课,单元主题是Families Celebrate Together, 本课是与单元主题紧密相关。文本内容是关于Jenny一家和Brian在感恩节这一天去爷爷奶奶家庆祝感恩节的阅读篇章,课文分为两部分:第一部分是他们去爷爷奶奶家相互问候的过程;第二部分是关于他们Thanksgiving dinner及其活动。通过本节课的学习,让学生理解和掌握有关感恩节的词汇,了解感恩节活动,充分感受东西方节日的不同;在学习中掌握一定的听、读策略;同时,给学生渗透情感教育,教育学生常怀感恩之心,感激父母、感激老师和朋友等。课后,我对自己这节课进行了以下反思:

一、导入环节设计用心,歌曲引入,衔接自然。

Let’s do it!的第二部分歌曲内容紧贴本课主题,而且几乎没有生词,我将这首歌曲调整在课前Warming up环节,让学生带着问题听歌曲:What festival do people celebrate in this song?引出本课主题。一方面渲染感恩节的氛围,另一方面唤起学生关于感恩节知识的回忆。歌曲导入,学生较为感兴趣,自然引入本课主题。

二、巧妙运用图片,精心设计语篇,突破词汇。

在每个节日里涉及到的东西会很多,与节日相关的吃的,活动等,这需要从学生的实际情况进行筛选,一方面考虑到学生会不会说,难不难说;另一方面还要贴近学生的实际生活经验,从学生的角度去考虑,哪些是学生熟知的、乐于谈论的,或者说是感兴趣的.。结合本课的词汇表,我向学生展示家庭聚会、火鸡、甜点等图片,教学新的单词:gathering, turkey, dessert, hug, conversation等词汇,在学生认读了这些词汇之后,让学生用刚学得新单词完成一篇小短文,即学即用,让学生在语篇中巩固运用词汇,做到“词不离句、词不离篇”,突破词汇目标。

三、注重听读任务设计,训练策略,关注学生差异。

本课内容分两部分,我在处理时,考虑从不同的角度训练学生能力。第一部分,作听力处理,听两遍,第一遍学生带着一个问题Where did Jenny go on Thanksgiving Day? 听录音,初步感知。第二遍,听细节,设计了5个问题,让学生再次听录音,训练学生捕捉细节信息的能力,进一步理解课文。同时考虑到学生的差异性,让中等生和优等生合上书听完成任务,学困生可以打开书,给不同层次的学生提出不同层次的要求,使不同层次的学生得到不同程度的发展。听力任务完成后,要求学生根据问题与答案进行串联,复述课文第一部分,训练学生的表达能力。第二部分作为阅读处理,读前,让学生结合第一部分内容,对第二部分进行推测,预测第二部分将讲述的内容,训练学生的预测策略;读中任务为学生小组内阅读课文第二部分,相互讨论不理解的句子等,并完成一篇短文;读后,让学生根据关键词复述课文,锻炼自己的语言表达能力。同时为了让更多的学生参与到活动中,先给学生1分钟时间在小组内准备,然后进行接力复述,其他没有复述的同学认真倾听,找错纠错,形成良好的学习习惯。课文复述之后,让学生观察一组句子,归纳总结“因某事而感谢某人”的表达法,并造句,强化语言点。活动层层推进,训练目标明确,并兼顾学生个体差异,活动组织形式多样,学生作为课堂主体作用得到了充分发挥。

四、板书设计精心别致,呈现课堂重点,注重情感教育。

板书呈现本课的新语言点,通过有序的呈现,以及合理的布局,让学生一目了然,明确本课的重点。同时,呈现的语言为学生串联篇章提供了很好地语言支架。再者,心形的设计与感恩节的主题相呼应,配合一首英文版的《感恩的心》,渗透感恩教育,将本课的主题得以升华。

反思本课教学,存在以下不足:

一是自己在学情分析方面还存在不足,对授课现场的学生的了解有限,学生对老师的授课方式也不能完全适应,导致课堂中与学生的交流还不够自然、生动、流畅。在教学中应该提高自己的应变能力,及时根据学生表现调整自己的教学。

二是对课堂活动的设计有些多,需要适当的取舍。为了将本课内容完整呈现,听前、听中、听后及读前、读中、读后均有涉及,导致课堂容量过大,造成拖堂。备课时应该合理取舍,突出训练重点。

(一) 教学课型:综合技能课

该课型基于教材文本, 又超越文本信息重构新的文本。教学过程从信息输入到信息加工处理, 最后到信息输出, 真正着眼于“提高学生用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力, 特别注重提高学生用英语进行思维和表达的能力。” (教育部, 2003)

把教材的第二部分调整到第一步分之前处理, 在复习环节引导学生综合、分析、处理信息的能力, 在自主与合作学习过程中了解异国文化, 激发学生对生活的热爱。

根据Learning English教材的课程理念, 本课准备以任务型教学模式为主, 融汇话题、交际功能和语言结构, 使整个教学过程循序渐进, 并使交际内容生活化。

(二) 教材内容分析:

Fun in the Sun是初中英语冀教版 (Learning English) 八年级下Unit 1 Spring is Coming! 的第五课。

通过本单元学习学生将复习学过的有关天气、日期和季节的词汇, 并通过故事和话题进一步扩展描述天气的词汇, 学习有关户外娱乐的词汇。通过比较中国和加拿大的户外娱乐活动, 使学生能够把语言学习和个人经验、观点表述联系起来。

本课围绕“建议”展开话题, 以学习新的体育运动词汇, 用英语提建议, 以及发表个人见解为重点, 为“使学生能够把语言学习和个人经验、观点表述联系起来”, 做好语言积累和知识铺垫。在复习有关天气的词汇同时, 在对比中加入不同的户外娱乐活动, 让学生了解文化差异, 培养学生热爱运动、热爱生活的情趣。

二、学情分析

(一) 知识基础:

学生对于有关季节、天气和运动的词汇已经有一些了解和积累, 基本掌握用“I like to do…/ I like doing…”表达个人意愿。

(二) 心理及技能特点:

50%左右的学生基础较差, 没有良好的英语语言表达习惯, 这部分学生比较依赖教师讲解, 习惯于被动接收信息。约20%的学生能够听懂并乐于参与教学活动, 善于发现问题并能够积极解决问题。还有大约30%的学生能够参与课堂活动, 但是由于畏难情绪常常不敢尝试。

(三) 学习需要 :

爱玩是孩子的天性。为了能够真实准确的表达个人意愿, 学生有了解更多户外娱乐项目的愿望。基于已有知识, 学生需要了解和学习更多有关户外娱乐或活动的词汇, 以及更加丰富的语言表达方式来满足其表达需要。

第二, 利用多媒体, 通过声音、图片等各种形式的辅助, 结合听、读、说、写的训练将生词和重点句型整合、归纳、提炼进行足够量的语言输入, 引导学生积极主动地参与教学活动。

(一) 对教学过程的反思:

整个教学过程还算完整、清晰。教学环节清楚简练, 遵循了学生的认知规律:导入——呈现新知——操练新知——迁移运用——巩固评价, 环环相扣, 过渡自然。

活动的设计形式多样, 首先体现在活动的组织形式上, 如二、三人一组和四、五人一组的活动;还体现在活动本身的设计上, 如预测、复述、表演、调查、报告等。

教学过程的目标意识体现突出, 每一个环节和步骤都配有简洁明确的意图阐述。媒体资源的运用也比较合理, 基本能有效拓宽学与用的渠道。

教学设计中注重学生能力培养, 注重英语的交际功能, 体现了英语作为一种语言的工具性。学生通过合作学习, 在用中学, 学而用, 不断巩固和提升英语语言知识及综合运用能力。

教学设计中情景创设有利于学生学习GOOD ENGLISH。在情境中学生感知、体验英语语言的真实性, 更有利于学生掌握和恰当运用所学英语语言知识以及语言技能。
