评选前期，班上有学生在晚修小测中被发现作弊，我也调查出平时这种作弊的人数不在少数。由于此类小测没有监考老师，却需要将排名告知家长，学生既重视又轻视，所以容易钻空子，翻书、互相对答案等现象很普遍。我不能接受这些“见怪不怪”的现象，严肃耐心地在全班进行了两次教育。我从作弊后果切入，希望学生认识到，这种行为看似得了小便宜，其实无法检测出真实水平，而且糊弄了家长和老师，导致他们减轻了对自己的督促，对于学习不自觉的同学无疑更缺乏动力。心理学研究表明“态度决定行为，长期行为也会塑造态度”，有作弊行为的同学，其慎独和诚实的水平堪忧，而那部分本来诚实的学生，可能因为看别人这么做，觉得自己作弊也无所谓，不做反而吃亏，出于这样的心理去跟风。然而这种事情做多了，由于人类心理有“合理解释自己的行为，使自己和他人可以接受”的本能，久而久之，就会变得麻木，甚至改变原本诚实慎独的本性，真正形成品格缺陷。

然而，我深知这种简单说教往往效果有限。不久，推荐优秀团员的通知下达，我感到可以趁此对作弊行为来一次“行动教育”。于是我在全班宣布：“这次要评14名优秀团员，这个荣誉称号区别于三好学生的标准可能是更突显‘思想境界，候选人不应该是全班同学，而至少应该是没有重大违纪（比如作弊），或者是在志愿服务中有突出表现的同学。这次评议我希望宁缺毋滥。我现在难以确定你们平时谁真正符合这些条件，所以我打算采取‘自荐+班级评议的方式来完成这次推荐。请各位同学自我反省一下你本学期的表现，觉得符合标准的来我这里报名，最后再由班级同学匿名审核。”

到了截止日期，没有人来报名。我追问：“没有人来自荐优秀团员？”学生们沉默不语。于是我向年级表示，本学期本班不推荐优秀团员。我对这种结果是有预期的，而且也是满意的。（1）候选人自荐：让学生意识到荣誉是有标准的，并深刻反省。如果按平时的做法，默认全班都是候选人，那么学生得到荣誉不是同学推荐就是老师指定，显然有“不要白不要”的心理，长期以往会认为自己真的很优秀，从而忽视自己的缺点。（2）自荐基础上的班级审核：因为同学们最清楚平时大家的作弊情况，自荐人即使欺骗了我也难以逃过匿名评审，加上前期教育和自我反省，相信大部分同学不会放弃匿名评审的公正感，而评审又是全体同学第二次对“优秀条件”的思考，从而加深印象。（3）此种方案形式上是公平公正的，给了学生足够的自由权，也给了班级同学足够的民主评议权，所以这样的结果会让学生心服口服，并且记忆深刻。当然，不乏有同学的确符合条件，但羞于自我推荐，或者淡泊名利，但在大部分同学均不合格的情况下，这一可能性并不大。即使有，他们也要为自己的自愿放弃负责。
