摘要：从20世纪50年代出版第一部小说开始,多丽丝·莱辛就引起了学术界的持续关注。作为2007年诺贝尔文学奖的获得者,莱辛被誉为是继弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫之后最伟大的英国女作家。莱辛的作品题材广泛,涉及种族歧视、女性身份、两性关系及人类生存危机等问题。不论处在哪个创作时期,莱辛对人类自我意识发展的关注从未停止,始终致力于帮助人们在现代社会的精神危机中自我完善,自我实现,追求内心世界与外部世界的平衡。本论文选取小说《天黑前的夏天》作为研究文本。在这部作品中,莱辛以细腻的笔触描述了一位走出家庭的主妇凯特不同寻常的精神成长之旅。凯特是万千家庭主妇乃至现代社会人的缩影,她寻求个体自我实现的精神之旅与荣格所提出的自性化进程产生了共鸣。通过描写凯特在现实世界和梦境中对自我的追寻和探索,莱辛揭示了人物内心分裂本质,同时为彷徨、迷失的现代人提供追寻自我实现的蓝图。本论文从分析心理学的角度出发,运用自性化理论解读该作品主人公的内心进程,探析凯特认识自我、完善自我的精神回归之旅。本论文共有五章。第一章简要介绍多丽丝·莱辛及小说《天黑前的夏天》、国内外研究现状和从分析心理学角度分析这部作品的可行性。第二章从荣格分析心理学的基本假设入手,探讨女主人公潜藏的精神危机。第三章通过集体无意识的主要表征——原型切入,将凯特的梦境和现实相结合,分析凯特面对虚假自性、对抗精神危机、整合自我的过程。第四章通过自性原型的整合作用分析凯特自性化进程的最后阶段,即自性化的实现。第五章为结论,指出凯特自性化之旅的现实意义。通过这部作品中凯特自性化的实现,莱辛为现代人提供了解决精神危机的良方。
