摘要：本英译汉翻译实践报告的翻译实践材料选自英文原版教材《跨文化交际入门简介之全球社会身份》（第一到五章）（An Introduction to Intercultural Communiation Identities in a Global Community）,该书由弗雷德·E·詹特（Fred E.Jandt）所著。原文第一至五章分别从跨文化交际的定义、影响跨文化交际的阻碍因素、跨文化交际环境、概念以及应具备的交际能力、非言语交际以及言语本身具有的交际阻碍性五个方面进行了阐述。该教材将跨文化交际理论和实践紧密结合,列举了一系列案例以帮助读者辨别不同国家的传统文化、了解和学习最新的跨文化交流知识和技能,从而使其成为优秀而自信的跨文化交流者。《跨文化交际入门简介全球社会身份》属于信息型文本,本次翻译实践以彼得·纽马克（Peter Newmark）提出的翻译理论为指导,使用了语义翻译和交际翻译,同时灵活采用具体的翻译技巧和方法,包括:拆分法、增译法、减译法、合并法等,力图在确保读者可以接受译文的条件下再现原文内容。此外,SPSS作为常用的统计学分析软件,可以更直观的分析跨文化交际类信息型文本的译文特征。因此,此次实践报告运用了 SPSS,对翻译策略下的译文语句进行统计分析。本次翻译实践报告由五部分组成,第一部分为翻译任务介绍,包括项目来源、特点和结构;第二部分为翻译过程介绍,主要叙述译前准备、平行文本分析、质量控制以及译后校准;第三部分重点介绍指导本次翻译实践的翻译理论;第四部分重点从词法与句法方面对案例进行分析,同时阐述了翻译过程中遇到的困难以及在翻译理论指导下的相应解决方法;第五部分则针对本次翻译实践进行了总结,指出了笔者在本次翻译实践中的收获、翻译实践存在的不足以及未来展望。
