一、人物独特

《知己》的第一大成功之处,是人物独特。人物形象塑造是戏剧创作的“最高任务”,因为人物是戏剧的中心。“有生命力的剧本和没有生命力的剧本之间的差别,就在于前者是人物支配着情节,而后者是情节支配着人物。”[1]

《知己》正是以独特的人物形象为中心,在支配着戏剧情节的发展,同时又在戏剧情节的进行中,凸显了人物丰富复杂的情感,做到了“情节”与“情结”的合二为一。该剧作以顾贞观舍身营救自己的好友、被流放到宁古塔的吴兆骞为核心情节,而以这一戏剧情节,塑造出不同凡响、独特的诸多人物形象。

首先是顾贞观的形象,他是该剧作“一号”人物。他出场的第一句话就是:“读书人里头也有不迷恋科举的。”接着,使以咏茶壶诗对宰相明珠的大管家安图进行了嘲讽:“腰圆腹扁土砂包,才上火炉气便豪。小物不堪成大器,两三杯水作波涛!”既表现出文人的才气,又张扬了文人的骨气。他蔑视权贵,可为了救知己,他不得不屈尊到明珠府中当了一名教书匠。他在相府一待就是10年。顾贞观本来不会喝酒,为救吴兆骞,竟喝得大醉;为了吴兆骞,顾贞观屈膝长跪,在地上硬是跪出两个坑。可是,当他苦等的吴兆骞回来后竟然变成了一个屈膝拍马、猥琐侧足的奴才时,顾贞观仍然设身处地为吴着想,认为他的这些变化是宁古塔的流放生活造成的。顾贞观采取了宽容理解的姿态,他的广阔胸怀令人敬佩。这是一个正直、高洁、能屈能伸、有情有义的文人形象,令人敬慕,令人感动,令人振奋。

其次是吴兆骞的形象,这是另类文人的典型形象。他属于“文人卖心”“文人无行”之类。这一形象一方面与顾贞观的正直高洁形成鲜明的对比;另一方面又与自身流放前的形象形成鲜明对比。流放之前他狂傲,多才;流放赦归之后却变成一个卑躬屈节的奴才,成了一条十足的“哈巴狗”。这一形象诚如作者所言,“可能引起人们的某种反思。”

此外,作品中其他人物形象也都是个性鲜明的,例如纳兰性德的重义正直、徐乾学的博学多才、明珠的老谋深算、安图的豪横阴险、云姬的清纯正直,如此等等,不胜枚举。甚至连没有名姓的二解差,也刻画得入木三分。

可以说,郭启宏对剧中人物的刻画,的确已经“渗透到他灵魂的最后一条皱纹。”[2]写出了人物思想感情的丰富性、复杂性、独特性。

二、主题深刻

《知己》的第二大成功之处,是主题深刻。主题是作品的灵魂,也是整部剧的亮点、支点,更是整部作品的辐射中心和作品虚构的制约点。

《知己》的剧作者以独特的视角与见识,通过顾贞观营救吴兆骞的戏剧情节与顾、吴二人的形象塑造,既歌颂了封建社会正直文人的高洁、重情、重义的美好人性与崇高人格,又鞭挞了人性的异化与扭曲。

人性的异化,是一个十分深刻而又新锐的问题。吴兆骞由正直、狂傲的文人变为猥琐、卑微、趋炎附势、溜须拍马、出卖灵魂和良心的文人,就是典型的人性异化。而这种异化的根本原因,在于中国封建社会的“体制”,即“一堵名为‘体制’的高墙。”[3]有了这种“体制”,便有了科举制度,有了文字狱,有了吴兆骞的被流放,有了“把人变成牛羊,变成鹰犬”的宁古塔,有了吴兆骞的诌媚、倾轧、猥琐、自轻自贱。97年前鲁迅先生的小说《狂人日记》,揭露了中国封建社会“吃人”的本质;《知己》则以吴兆骞人性的异化,揭露出中国封建社会“毁人”的本质。

当然,《知己》的主题远不止批判揭露,而是张扬了中国文人的舒己救人、伸张正义、九死不悔的“脊梁”精神与“飞蛾”精神。71年前,鲁迅在《中国人失掉自信力了吗?》一文中说:“我们从古以来,就有埋头苦干的人,有拼命硬干的人,有为民请命的人,有舍身求法的人,……虽是等于为帝王将相作家谱的所谓‘正史’,也往往掩不住他们的光耀,这就是中国的脊梁。”[4]顾贞观精神就是脊梁精神,他“羡慕那扑火的飞蛾,就是死了,也活得辉煌!”他的“飞蛾精神”可以感天动地、光耀千古!

可以说,《知己》主题的深刻性,已经达到发人深思、动人心魄的艺术高度,这也正是它最大的亮点与看点。

三、语言突破

《知己》的第三大成功之处,是语言突破。话剧是语言的艺术,“话”者,语言之谓也。《知己》语言的突破,也就是语言的创新,表现在以下几个层面。

(一)古今一体,雅俗共赏

作为描写清代文人的历史剧,语言不古不可,全用现代语言,就不成其为历史剧,也会失真。而全用清代古语,又不适于现代人观赏。与此同时,该剧作又是描写大文人的话剧,非雅不可,因为文人与雅士是同义语。但一味文雅,也同样不便于现代人观赏。因此,作者运用古今一体、雅俗共赏之手法,在语言上进行大胆突破,并获得理想的戏剧效果。例如顾贞观的台词:“是呀,世间万物谁个不为活着?蜘珠结网,蚯蚓松土,为了活着;缸里钓鱼摆尾,架上鹦鹉学舌,为了活着;密匝匝蚂蚁搬家,乱纷纷苍蝇争血,也是为了活着;满世界蜂忙蝶乱,牛奔马走,狗跳鸡飞,哪一样不为活着?(突然变色)可人生在世,只是为了活着?人,万物之灵长,亿万斯年修炼的形骸,天地间无与伦比的精灵,只是为了活着?(惨笑)读书人悬梁刺股、凿壁囊萤、博古通今、学究天人,只是为了活着?……”真是精彩致极!把人物内心深处对人生的哲理思考,行诸笔端,吐诸于口,真是不吐不快,大快人心!

(二)丰富多彩,百花荟萃

《知己》中有名有姓的人物16个,每个人物的语言都达到了个性化、人物化、性格化。顾贞观的语言正气凛然;吴兆骞的语言流放前傲气十足,流放后又奴气十足;徐乾学的语言学问深厚;明珠的语言狡黠豪气与奴气合二而一——豪奴气;云姬的语言温柔纤弱……所有人物的语言无不个性鲜明。

(三)诸体皆备,词采飞扬

《知己》的语言,融诗、词、文、联、快板等各种文体为一炉,凸显了剧作者深厚的文学功底与语言功力,达到了词采飞扬之境。

最为人们称道的,是对顾贞观的词作《金缕曲》二首的全篇巧妙引用。《金缕曲》作为书信体的词作,不仅形式上为顾贞观所独创,而且在情感上也是真情之作,它与汉代李陵的《与苏武诗》、晋代向秀的《思旧赋》并称“古往今来,普天下只有3篇真文字。”而顾贞观讽刺安图的七言古诗、吴兆骞咏骰子的五言古诗:“一片寒微骨,翻成面面心……自从遭点染,抛掷到如今!”也寓意多重。顾贞观论茶道、明珠关于“举”字的高谈阔论、徐乾学关于苍耳的引经据典……无一不精彩致极!老小孩的几段快板,更是点睛之笔,徒然生色:“哎!哎!读书人,最不济,八股文,烂如泥。国家求才行科举,谁知变作上天梯。三句承题,两句破题,摆尾摇头,便说是圣贤子弟。不晓得三通、四史,是何等文章,汉祖、唐宗,是哪朝皇帝,案上放高头讲章,店里卖新科利器,读得来背高肩膀低,读得来尿频头发稀,就教他蒙上一官半职,也算是——百姓倒霉、朝廷晦气!”真可谓一篇讽刺科举制度的妙文。

(四)方言土语,凸显京味

《知己》还运用了老北京的许多方言土语,凸显作品的京味风格,既适于北京人艺搬演,又表现出“京派”戏剧的地域风格。例如老小孩的“莲花落”:“……六月三伏大热天;什刹海边好赏莲,男男女女人不断,听完了大鼓书,再听那什不闲。哩格啷,哩格啷!逛河沿,果子摊儿全,西瓜香瓜杠口甜,冰镇的酸梅汤,打冰盏,买了把子莲蓬,转回家园。……”其他如“德行”、“这主儿”、“头号”、“爷们儿露怯”、“筋骨囊”、“花虎不拉、白屎壳螂——各色”、“是人都称爷,无我不孙子”、“敢情”、“甭跟我来哩格啷”、“齐活儿”……真可谓京腔京味,地域语言令人如见其人。

可以说,《知己》语言的突破性,是全方位、系列化、深层次的,也是有目共睹、有口皆碑的。

综上所述,《知己》的成功,以人物独特、主题深刻、语言突破为三大力点与亮点,而这三者又三位一体、三维互动、相辅相成、相得益彰。该剧不仅是一曲文人挽歌,还呈现了人性的复杂,很难说顾和吴,谁对谁错。毫无疑问,拥有文人傲骨的顾贞观代表着“士”的忠信仁义和执着。而苟延残喘于恶劣逆境,“活下来就是真理”的吴兆骞则代表着生活中更实用的做派。世界是运动的世界。环境会变,人也会变。当知己变成异己时,不再苛求对方依然遵循当初的人生哲学,才是真正的化解——这一悲壮之举,确实需要非常的眼光与肚量。

话剧在我国为广大民众所喜爱。从某种意义上说,现代的电影也是话剧的一种。从定义上说,话剧通常是演员以舞台表演的形式扮演一定的角色,叙述一个故事。而这一定义其实也适用于影视剧。它们都是由演员、道具和故事组成。但是,区别是话剧是当众表演的,影视剧则展示于摄影摄像机前。在剧本的创作上,话剧和影视剧相似之处也比较多。二者的剧本都是由人物、情节、矛盾冲突、启承转合构成的,都需要运用铺垫、渲染等艺术手法。所不同的是,戏剧是直接面向观众的表演,舞台场景固定,因此人物、事件、情节需要相对集中,而影视则具有更大的灵活性,它是通过多场次的组接,来实现对全剧的整体控制的。

一、影视剧本的特征

1.逼真性

话剧和影视都是来源于生活,表现生活。与戏剧相比,但是影视艺术能更加真实地反映生活。而且有时它可以达到完全逼真的程度。因此,影视剧本也要根据这种要求更加逼真地书写故事情节,例如:人物说的什么、带着什么样的表情、用的是什么语气等等,都要根据生活真實的原则,一一写清。不能像话剧那样,需要运用夸张手法。

2.立体可视性

影视剧本最终是要表演个观众看的,所以影视剧本中只要是文字表达的,就应该是能够让观众看得见的东西。虽然话剧剧本也有相关的要求,但是影视剧剧本还有其特殊性。在戏剧中,台下的观众只能从一个固定的角度和固定的距离来观看表演,因此,在话剧剧本中,如果表现一个人的情绪和行为,只要通过不多的剧本提示标示出来就可以了。而在影视中的情况不同,影视剧本的表现方法更为丰富,例如可以借助近景、重复、特写等镜头实现全方位的、立体的可视性。

3.可组接性

影视剧艺术最重要的特性是“蒙太奇”。指的是那种将不同的镜头合乎逻辑地剪辑和组合在一起的手段。蒙太奇有很多类型,对于一个编剧来说,使用最多的是叙事蒙太奇。另外在影视剧中的画面与音响、音响与音响的组接,也属蒙太奇的范畴。由于影视剧大量使用蒙太奇的手法,所以影视剧本,就必需遵循蒙太奇的组接原则,为影视剧的拍摄,提供基础。不必像话剧剧本需要尽可能集中。影视剧完全不用这么刻板,由于蒙太奇的手法的运用,不强求人物场景的集中性,剧本创作更加自由,只要遵循蒙太奇的组接原则进行剧本创作即可。综上所述可见,影视剧跟话剧虽然在定义上有些接近,在剧本的创作手法上有些共同的特性,但是这毕竟是两种不同的艺术创造形式,毕竟有着一些创作特性上的差异,作为一个创作者,在了解和熟知了影视剧的创作特性,摸清了影视剧剧本和话剧剧本的各自不同的创作规律之后,如果对影视剧本感兴趣,那么你就可以用学过的话剧编剧理论作为基础,按照影视剧的特有创作特性,开始着手创作适合电影电视剧拍摄的剧本了[1]。

4.综合表现性

话剧剧本必需是可以重复表演的,考虑到不同的时代,不同的导演,不同的演员和不同演出场所,话剧剧本的创作不能太过死板,将那些具体的环境交代、具体的时间安排和具体的行为举止削弱到最小,从而留下自由发挥的空间。因此,戏剧剧本主要以人物台词为主而展开剧情的,舞台提示较少。而影视剧则不同,它通常是一次性,很少有重拍。因此一部影视剧剧本一般只会被使用一次。因此,影视剧本必需根据接近生活的原则要把人物、环境、时间、行为举止、情感态度等都尽可能详细地描述出来。为拍摄提供综合性的帮助。

二、电影电视剧本的写作要求

1.写作格式

影视剧本也有着不同于戏剧剧本的写作格式。为了便于拍摄、衔接。每一个剧本创作都要有环境、人物、人物关系、台词、行为的描写,而且人物的行为和台词之间用冒号和引号将其分开。每一段前空两格,段落按意思区分。一景一场,分开场次。不要像戏剧那样把人物的名字全部写在台词的前边,形成顶格一行全是人物名字的形式。在一个场次内,要写清楚时间、内景外景、气氛和情绪等。需要特别强调的内容,要单列一行,专门写就[2]。

2.一景一场,衔接有机

影视剧采用蒙太奇的手法,拍摄是把一个环境里的事情,集中在一段时间内,所以影视剧剧本在写作过程中,要按照空间场所不同分开,只要环境不同,便设置不同的一场,而两个场景里发生的事情不要放在一个场次内解决。另外,还要处理好集中与分散的关系,做到既要分开场次分头来创作剧本,同时又要使它们之间自然流畅地衔接。

3.剧本写作要有定型感

影视剧要求人物更加接近真实的人物形象由于更加接近自然真实,又由于是“一次性的拍摄”,故会给观众造成一种演员和人物合二为一的审美心理定式。这种审定势作用于影视剧剧本,就要求影视剧剧本对人物的形象有定向描述。因此要写清楚人物的性格特征、 他身世、他社会关系、 他的行为特点等等,不能像话剧那样只在人物的台词上下功夫。

4.剧本写作要详尽真实

影视剧要求逼真性,所以在写作影视剧本的过程中,要注意局部和细节的写尽、写实。要是故事情节和人物有血有肉、饱满丰腴。所以在影视剧本的写作中,要把那些想通过镜头表达的东西,都详尽地描写出来,尽量符合真实。

三、影视剧本写作中应该注意的问题

1.打破传统范式

由于时间、地点、人物必须集中的戏剧性要求,话剧编剧的创作很难超越矛盾和解决矛盾的范式,由于时空的限制,很难不落下编造的痕迹和嫌疑。然而这种编造感和假定性的痕迹如果出现在影视剧当中,就必然和影视剧所要求的那种逼真性和纪实性产生抵牾。影视剧本创作不能不打破戏剧这种传传统的结构方法,要以真实的生活为创作标准。
