一、“80后”的性格及网络使用特征

最早将博客引入中国的方兴东曾经将博客解释为“网络出版 (web publishing) (2) 。”这一概念得到了众多研究者的认同, 因此, 尽管博客的兴起被广泛认作WEB2.0时代的标志之一, 尽管博客的匿名化、个性化、互动化与大众传媒形成鲜明对比, 但作为“一个打开门的私人房间 (3) ”, 博客与传统出版的共同点不容忽视, 即同样强调对象性或者非对象性、公开性或者非公开性的出版、表达, 这种功能在当下社交网站的火爆中显得更为突出。2005年首次全球中文博客调查报告显示, “77%的博客用户同意博客是‘表达自己情感的一个很好的方式’;小部分同意‘与其他Bloggers进行交流’ (4) ”, 即互动需求并没有最初大家认为得强烈。作为普通用户的私人博客, 它与个人博客的区别在于, 私人博客没有功利色彩, 没有赢利目的、不为个人出名, 更像一种传统日记的电子版。在私人博客上, 博主可以记录个人的生活体验、思想历程, 可以与读者进行沟通, 也可以自己欣赏博文, 记录自己人生的一段经历。正是由于私人博客的这种特点, 很多“80后”选择博客作为情感表达的载体和平台, 有研究者对浙江大学研究生进行了调查, 结果显示“对于写“博”的目的, 则还是以“记录生活”、“抒发情感”为主 (5) ”。这种博客的情感表达功能在高中生群体中也有显现, “他们只在推心置腹的好友圈中交换链接, 同时博客名称也虚拟化, 隐蔽性较高, 日记里的真情流露也更多 (6) ”。

2003年产生的SNS (Social Ne tw ork Se rvice) 网站近几年在中国迅速风行, 一个典型的案例就是集中定位于大学生群体的“校内网”。“校内网”是当下最流行、使用人数最多、影响力最广的校园类SNS网站, “截止到2008年3月份, 校内网已经拥有真实注册用户超过2200万, 垄断中国大学生用户80%以上的市场份额 (9) ”。校内网以“因为真实, 所以精彩”为口号, 鼓励用户以真实身份注册, 简单来说它具有以下的特点:使用者身份的真实性, 交际圈子的广泛性, 搜索友人的便捷性, 使用功能的娱乐性, 消息传递的迅速性。

有研究者针对社交网站用户的行为和动机进行了调查, 证实“社交网站用户的主要动机为以下几个:维持人际关系、互动、信息分享和娱乐消遣。在几个主要动机当中, 维持人际关系被用户视作是他们使用社交网站的最主要原因 (10) ”。在校内网上, 用户大多以真实身份注册, 打破了以往网上社交的虚拟化, 网上网下身份得到统一。校内网本身设置多样的各种组件, 如分享、日志、相册、投票、班级以及形式多样的游戏插件, 使用户可以通过各种方式加强好友之间的网络人际关系, 而由于校内网的真实性, 这种网络人际关系在校内网中与现实人际关系有相当大的重叠性。因此校内网就成为真实的人际交往的平台, 打破了地理的局限, 时空的阻碍, 成为现实生活中人际关系的虚拟网络延伸。校内网人际交往的功能, 增加了同学朋友之间的情感沟通。使用校内网可以达到一种关注周围环境的作用, 可以及时地了解朋友的动态, 保持联系等人际交往需要。“网络社交增加了青少年同伴之间、群体之间相识和了解的途径, 使日常生活中部分人际交往的需要在网络上得到了满足。 (11) ”

“80后”选择以真实身份注册的校内网去联系朋友, 而自己内心的小秘密就更倾向于记录在私人博客上。博客的匿名性虽然使虚假消息、个人攻击等不良信息有了容身之地, 但其匿名性的特点, 与校内网形成功能差异。校内网强大的搜索功能允许用户根据个人目的搜索想寻找的人, 这种使用基于现实的人际交往基础上, 以真实性为原则, 故有研究者称SNS“网络人际传播的现实化回归 (12) ”。用户在校内网上发表的公开言论与评论、状态的变动都会被自己好友所知, 对自己的实际生活会产生一定的影响。但是“私人博客”就不同, “私人博客”相当于一个个人主页, 如果博主不公布具体的网址, 不使用自己的真实姓名, 其他人很难搜索到;即使搜索到, 也不能确定这个博客的主人的真实身份。博客可以隐姓埋名, 但这一点在校内网上无法实现。这种功能分化客观上满足了用户的不同心理需求。

四、“80后”使用私人博客与校内网网络可能产生的心理问题
