新目标英语八年级上unit3教学反思 这节课是八年级第三单元《I’m more outgoing than my sister 》中的第一课时。本课主要讲解英语中的比较级,让学生能够了解英语中形容词的比较级如何变化、如何使用等。上完这节课后,我有以下几方面的感想。 1. 教学语言 在这节课中,从导入开始,我的语速就快了,以至于后面让学生有点反应不过来的感觉,相应的教学效果就没有预想的效果好。所以,我觉得以后一定要考虑到我的语速问题,不要让这样的现象发生。 2.教学活动的设计 在这节课中,我为了让学生有兴趣的`去参加活动练习,提高教学效果。我搜索了很多名人的图片,让学生去参与练习,用形容词来比较他们。但我忽略了代沟问题,在我眼中看来是很出名的一些明星,有的明星大多数学生不认识,这是我考虑不全面的地方,对学生的分析还不到位。在以后的教学中,我一定会避免再发生这样的情况,使自己的教学不断完善。其次,我设计的猜谜活动,猜一位学校的教师。我的设计意图是如果时间有剩余的话,就完成来做调解时间的机动环节。但是,我没有做充分的准备,以至于学生猜的时候目标不明确,反应起来不如预想的快。如果我在课件中准备一张幻灯片链接上,用就点,不用就不点。那么,学生猜测的效果会更好地。 总之,一位优秀的教师离不开不断的教学反思。因为,它是一个有益的思维的活动,同时也是一个再学习的活动。是我们回顾教学、分析成败、查找原因、寻找对策、以利后行的过程。我会养成不断反思的好习惯,不断成长、不断提高,使自己成为更优秀的教师。

一、教材分析:本单元教学以发出邀请、接受邀请、拒绝邀请为话题,主要应掌握会句型:Can you…?,Sure ,Id love to, Im sorry,Icant.I have to…学习情态动词can cant的用法。这个话题与学生实际生活有关,贴近学生的实际生活。

二、教学目标:

1.知识目标:掌握本课词汇和情态动词can及cant的用法。

2.能力目标:1)能听懂与聚会有关的项目话题的简单会话。

2)能用can或cant表述能不能参加聚会的项目会话。

3.文化意识:了解国内外常见的聚会形式,以及聚会时应注意的礼貌问题。

4.学习策略:培养学生发现,归纳学习重点,掌握本单元重点学习内容。

教学第一个环节:创设情景,导入新课

1.将有关表示聚会的图片向学生们展示,从而引出can cant的用法。

2.把1a中的图片和单词卡片给学生(4人一组)把词与图联系起来。(

2)通过ppt 图片展示本课句型:Can you come to my party? 通过开心的表情符号和不开心的表情符号来代表同意邀请和委婉拒绝邀请。 设计意图:教材中教学内容生词量较大,平时又很少遇到,学习起来比较枯燥,难以记住。用图片能更直观体现.学生看着图片,在不知不觉中学习了单词,并自然而然地让学生融于英语学习的情境中,大大激发了他们的学习兴趣,又以ppt的形式检查单词和短语,通过有趣的画面,加深了他们对单词的印象。为后面的学习内容打下了基础

在这个教学环境中,学生是活动的主体,教师只充当了引导的角色。

第二个环节:师生互动,学习探究

1.看图片,将表示活动的短语和对应的图片搭配。

2.听录音完成1b的练习(巩固所学单词)

3.结对活动或者小组活动,练习发出邀请,同意或拒绝的句型。

4.听录音完成2a的练习。

5.让学生朗读2b和2c中的句子。学生通过观察,讨论,总结,归纳can的用法。 设计意图:听的环节是“输入”的过程,带着问题听,让学生在听的过程中有效捕捉自己所感知到的.信息,同时又提醒学生注意观察并发现需要注意的表达方式,为后面的语言实践准备实用句型。这种让学生在具体的语境中发现新句型的教学方法,能有效地提高学生分析问题和解决问题的能力,调动学生学校的主动性和积极性。让所有的学生都参与到讨论的过程中来,这既体现了以学生为本的教育

思想,又调动了学生的积极性与创造性。这样让学生们自己发现的规律要比老师讲解所学到的规律在脑海中的印象深刻得多,而且学生今后还容易运用所学习到的知识来解决问题。

第三个环节:合作交流,巩固提高

1. 看图说话(I can / cant…He can / cant… They… We…)

设计意图:在这个环节中,我向学生提供了具有直观性的图画,让学生觉得有内容说,新学的句型在这一活动中得充分运用和巩固。(学生练习时的情景)

2. 做链接游戏 2人一组。

3. 采访同学看谁能做:要求用句型 Can you …提问,用 I can…回答

集和处理语言信息的能力。通过这一环节的练习,不但学生的语言技能得到了提高,而且他们的情感态度和学习能力都得到了培养,同时他们的语言知识还得到了复习和巩固。这样的练习可以充分调动学生的参与学习的主动性和积极性,激发学生的求知欲。

4.教学2d分角色朗读对话。 设计意图:让学生在学习中体验不同的角色,参与实践活动,主动与同伴合作交流,从而提高语言的表达能力。让所有学生全面参与学习过程,使学生的思维一直处于活跃的状态,提高课堂教学效率。

新课标要求课堂教学要培养学生的情感因素,着力培养学生的学习兴趣,激发学生的学习动机和培养他们热爱生活的品质。在英语教学中适当运用游戏教学可使学生在玩中学,变无意注意为有意注意,使学生在游戏之中实实在在地进行语言的运用和交流,避免了枯燥无味的死记硬背,这样的教学能激发学生的学习兴趣,使学生学习英语的信心和决心得到增强,同时学生学习英语心理素质在游戏之中得到培养。新课程标准要求我们广大教师必须加强学习,不断丰富我们的知识、提高我们诸方面的能力。因为只有教师的综合素质得到提高,我们才有能力教好我们的学生。我作为一名英语老师,我要及时转换自己的角色和观念,组织好每一项课堂活动,把表演的机会给学生,让学生成为真正的“主角”,让学生时刻处在体验,实践,参与,合作与交流的活动中,努力建立平等和睦的师生关系,让学生喜欢自己的英语课。不断提高他们的学习能力,培养学生积极的情感态度,丰富学生学习生活,使学生的文化意识、生活意识等素养都得到全面发展和提高

所谓“话题式”教学, 就是教师要结合每节课的教学目标和教学内容, 找到一个能引起学生强烈兴趣的话题, 教学活动围绕此话题展开的一种教学方式。其目的在于使学生以课文为出发点, 通过参与特定话题的相关活动, 深入理解此话题的内涵, 拓展认知领域。

“话题式”教学方法是教育学理论中的“近体原则”在中学英语课文教学中的具体应用。“近体原则”是指在教学过程中, 教师应在充分了解学生的心理状况、年龄层次和知识水平的基础上, 认真分析教材, 并对教材进行创造性的处理, 缩小“教”与“学”之间的差距, 以及心理、情感等方面的差异, 充分激发学生学习的主动性和创造性, 从而提高教学效果。

“话题式”教学是一种有效的课堂教学组织方式, 既能使学生创造性地学习和运用新知识, 又能充分挖掘学生的学习潜力, 高效率地构筑学生新的语言应用体系。中学英语课文教学的目的, 绝不只是学生在教师的引导下, 获取课文所传达的信息, 也不仅是让学生掌握课文所包含的词语、句型和语法等语言知识。语言教学只有跟现实生活结合起来, 才能体现出其生命力。这正是“话题式”教学模式的意义和魅力所在。

二、应用“话题式”教学方法的教学课例展示

现以我曾经讲授过的EEC教材第9单元第2课为例, 展示采用“话题式”课堂教学模式来完成“任务型教学”的操作过程。

首先我将本课教学理念定位为:以兴趣为出发点, 以“话题式”教学模式完成任务型教学。整体设计注重灵活性和开放性。

在“话题式”教学方式的构建方面, 我根据教学内容将总话题确定为“习惯”, 然后又设计了“坏习惯”和“好习惯”两个子话题, 为学生创造语言交际的广阔空间。

下面以本节课的教学步骤对“话题式”教学过程进行具体说明。

(一) 热身活动

以大声说英语口号开始, 使学生自然地进入一种英语学习的氛围。

(二) 教学环节

话题一:习惯──不同人有不同的习惯

通过观看校园生活录像联想自身, 引导学生完成任务一──填写校园习惯调查表 (见表1) , 简单介绍自己的习惯, 从而自然进入本节课谈论的中心话题。

话题二:坏习惯

通过听故事回答问题的方式进行第二个话题———“坏习惯”的讨论。

1. 通过听录音来整体掌握课文的中心思想, 判断课文中猴子和兔子的习惯是好习惯还是坏习惯,

2. 运用顺口溜来突破生词。教师通过引导学生朗读和记忆根据课文生词编辑的顺口溜“scratch, scratch, keep scratching yourself;throw, throw, throw stones at her;sniff, sniff, let’s sniff;hit, hit, hit me in the face;still, still, sit still, keep still", 并配合相应的动作, 使学生通过肢体语言体会生词的含义。

3. 跟读课文, 进一步理解文章, 然后回答问题, 找出兔子和猴子的坏习惯。

4. 找出重点短语, 突破难点。学生通过同桌间的合作归纳短语, 教师通过情景引导学生对重点短语进行学习。

5. 表演对话。发给学生面具, 使学生模拟课文进行分角色表演对话, 使新课以生动立体的形式呈现在学生面前。

6. 请学生说出平时生活中自身存在哪些坏习惯。这一部分既能使学生通过反思, 深刻认识到自己的坏习惯, 为下一步“好习惯”的话题进行铺垫, 还能适当扩充本节课内容之外的知识点, 如, 可以针对学生提出的新单词或短语选择性地进行教授。

话题三:好习惯

学生通过小组合作的方式填写调查表 (见表2) , 了解小组同学的好习惯, 教师鼓励各小组学生从好的学习习惯和生活习惯出发表演情景剧。综合应用知识, 提高学生的表演能力和小组协作精神, 培养学生综合语言运用能力。

(三) 归纳总结和布置作业

在总结本节课学习内容之后, 围绕课文的中心话题, 布置学生写一篇以“How to Improve your Study Habits”为主题的作文, 旨在训练和提高学生的综合书面表达能力。

三、“话题式”教学模式的效果评价与启示性反思

本节课我把课堂作为学生开展英语实践活动的舞台, 把课文内容作为话题, 组织学生进行讨论、评价、延伸和借鉴等多种语言实践活动。课堂上学生学习热情高涨, 从课堂提问到小组讨论, 以及情景表演各环节都表现积极踊跃, 课后作业的反馈情况以及考试测验所取得的成绩也显示出学生较好地掌握了本节课的内容。

从以上具体教学步骤所反映的教学过程来看, 我们能够得到重要的结论和启示:

1.“话题式”教学模式是行之有效的教学方法, 教学的各个环节都应以“话题”为中心展开。根据教学内容的不同, 不断更新话题, 每个单元至少设计一个核心话题, 在引导学生接触本单元的核心话题后, 给学生布置一定的话题展示任务。在教师的提示和帮助下, 由学生围绕话题自己完成学习任务, 最后形成课堂升华, 即完成一篇与核心话题相关的书面表达。

2.围绕“话题”, 从听、说、读、写各个方面, 循序渐进地培养学生英语方面的综合技能。学生综合能力的培养是听、说、读、写各个方面并举的多维系统工程, 同时也是由浅入深的渐进式过程。因此, 只有坚持科学的教学规律, 才能从真正意义上实现学生英语综合能力的提高。

3.运用“话题式”教学方法时应不断探索和发展相关的教学技巧。首先, 创设真实、多样化的教学情境。教师可利用图片、挂图、实物和多媒体等创设真实的教学情境, 让学生充分感受语言意义, 并在进行充分操练过的情况下再展开对话题的讨论, 这样才能让学生做到有话可说。如, 本文课例展示的校园录像与调查表, 就是创设教学情境的有效手段。其次, 对话的主题要突出。教师创设对话情境时, 一定要围绕某个话题展开, 从而提高话题教学的有效性。本文课例中, 以“习惯”作为中心话题, 并紧紧围绕中心话题, 设计出“坏习惯”和“好习惯”两个子话题。最后, 对话的形式要开放、有趣。对话应不局限于课文, 教师应引导并鼓励学生将话题联系自身, 发挥展现自己的独特个性。同时尽可能采用生动活泼的对话形式, 来激发学生参与对话的热情, 如, 本文课例展示中采用的小组讨论、填写调查表、情景剧表演等多种妙趣横生的方式。

英语教学方法的改进是一个不断探索的过程, “话题式”教学模式应用的有效性还需要广大教师潜心钻研, 这是我们当前面临的重要课题。
