时光飞逝,转眼之间,一学期已经悄然而逝。回首这学期,我有如下收获:

一、给学生营造英语学习的氛围 本学期自开学以来,我在课堂内外都尽量用简单的英语来组织教学和与学生交流。无论是上课时师生相互打招呼问候、道别,或者教师发指令让学生做动作等,我都尽量采用英语来进行。

二、关注教学过程

小学阶段英语教学的重点要放在听、说、读、写的训练上,要放在引导学生养成良好的读音,正确地听、说、读、写习惯和运用英语的习惯上,要放在养成良好的接受英语和学习的习惯上,要放在养成良好接受英语和学习英语的方法上,针对课程标准提出的要求,我在教授单词时,采用了一下的一些办法: 1.让学生仔细听单词的读音。放录音给他们听,使学生从听觉上正确地感受某个单词的读音。

2.让学生看所学单词所代表的事物之形状。因为小学英语中,大部分单词是表示具体的事物,抽象的甚少。这样就可以通过实物、卡片或了了几笔的 简笔画,把要学的单词展示在学生面前,使学生有一种直观感受。

3.让学生拼读单词。我把所学单词书写在黑板上或卡片上,让学生拼读,掌握单词是由哪些字母组合而成的。4.让学生想其读音和构成。通过以上三个步骤的训练,所学单词的读音和构成已基本上在学生大脑中形成。这时要求学生想一想所学单词读音和字母组合,主要是加深印象,让学生记牢。

5.让学生说出和写出单词,目的是检验学生的掌握情况。我可拿出实物或卡片,要求学生正确拼读出来,并能在三线本上写出来。如教师拿出苹果,学生观其形,就拼写出a-p-p-l-e。

三、重视评价,有效运用评价

评价可以使学生认识自我,树立自信,有助于反思及调整自己的学习过程,当学生回答问题时,我常常进行正面的评价,这是帮助初学者掌握英语学习的良好方法。我在课堂上大胆使用鼓励,可以鼓励全班,也可鼓励某一小组或某一学生。学生在开展个人活动、小组活动时,可以到学生中间去,鼓励和帮助某一个学生、某两个学生、或某一组学生,这种做法是比较好的。对学生的书面作业,我也经常给予正面的评价,不仅可以写上“Good!Very good!”等,还可以贴上一张表示鼓励的小粘贴画。

四、给后进生更多的关怀 后进生并不是真正智力低下,他们只是没有养成良好的学习习惯,再加上基础差,因而对学习失去兴趣。而且一般后进生的毅力不强,只要有机会玩耍,绝不会想到学习。如果仅仅靠老师来督促是很难达到理想的效果的。我采用一帮一的方式,让一个优等生来帮助一个后进生,并实行责任制。当然我也有许多的不足。尤其是驾驭课堂的能力还有待提高。今后我会在这个方面多向经验丰富的老教师们学习。

一、Free Talk

学生介绍自己在课外收集到的英语名人名言、小诗歌、绕口令、英语文化背景知识等, 从而丰富学生的课外知识, 提高学生的人文素养, 同时增强他们学好英语的信心, 让他们感受到学习带来的快乐。

二、Enjoy Music and Video

课前播放音乐、视频片断, 可使学生减轻学习疲劳, 减少学习压力, 使学生注意力集中起来, 较快地投入课堂学习中。在学习外研版英语七年级上册Module 10Computers前, 我给学生播放了一段视频“This is My Mouse”, 视频中是动漫的画面, 角色动作可爱、滑稽, 音乐旋律轻快, 学生听了看了, 感到很轻松, 也对接下来要学习的内容———如何使用computer的相关知识略知一二了。在上Module 8Unit 1“I always like birthday parties.”课前几分钟, 我让学生欣赏了“Today is My Birthday”视频。在播放之前, 给学生布置听的任务:说出听到或看到了哪些单词和句子。学生积极性很高, 课堂气氛活跃, 大家都集中精力去观看视频, 之后抢着回答。大家纷纷说出自己听到的看到的, 比如单词“present, birthday, flower”等, 句子“Today is my birthday.”等, 很自然地为下面课文的学习做了很充分的热身。

三、抢答活动

在学完表示颜色的英文单词后, 学生普遍认为比较容易掌握, 在第二节课的前5分钟, 我准备了一个抢答游戏:男生、女生各成一组, 教师通过多媒体点击颜色单词, 在单词掉下来前, 学生抢答, 答对得分, 累计分数高者胜。通过这个活动, 既操练了句型“What color is it?It is...”又活跃了课堂气氛, 调动起了学生的积极性, 还让学生复习了表示颜色的单词, 一举多得。

四、看动作猜词, 猜谜

学生上台表演某种动作, 让其他同学猜一猜:“What am I doing?”或老师发问:“What is he/she doing?”可以猜测生词表中的单词, 比如draw, run, read, swim等, 这样学生既可以形象地掌握生词, 又不会觉得枯燥乏味。还可以在PPT上打出谜面:1.It has got a round (圆的) face, and three hands, but it hasn’t got any feet.2.It works from day to night.3.It tells me the time every day.学生积极思考, 想出谜底。接下来, 在教学“时刻”的英语表达时, 学生热情高涨。

五、学生自备对话

通过学生自备对话, 一是为学生创设了良好的自主学习情境, 有利于培养学生良好的自学意识和习惯;二是激发了学生对英语的兴趣, 使之变被动学习为主动学习;三是锻炼了学生收集、综合、运用材料的能力;四是锻炼了学生的口头表述能力;五是体现和谐互动、教学相长, 培养学生互助友爱精神, 促进共同提高。

六、Daily Report

为了避免每次都是那几个活跃分子发言, 给其他不敢开口的学生提供锻炼口语的机会, 我布置了Daily Report任务。学生学完了话题“My friend”“My school day”等后, 我利用课前5分钟的时间, 在全班范围内按学号抽签, 抽到谁, 谁就起来完成Daily Report任务。学生在不知不觉中, 在谈笑风生中练习了口语, 尽管出现不少的错误, 但学生们羞于开口的习惯慢慢改掉了。通过这个活动, 不仅起到了“变式复习”的作用, 帮助学生积累词汇、丰富短语储备, 还给每个学生提供了展示自我的机会, 让他们体验到了成功的喜悦。

七、句子接力赛

为了及时复习学过的单词和句型, 我经常在课前5分钟组织学生进行句子接力赛, 以提高学生的听力, 也有意要集中他们的注意力。我小声地把句子告诉给每组的第一个学生, 然后一个学生一个学生地把句子往后传, 直到最后一个学生把所听到的句子写到黑板上, 看哪组写的句子最准确。在这个比赛中, 学生都紧张起来, 集中起自己的注意力, 生怕漏掉一个单词, 听错一个单词。

A Strange Thing

本单元Section B中有篇文章Strange events in Bell Town neighborhood,它讲述了一件在我们身边看似很怪异的事情。其实有的时候,是人们的心理在作怪。在挪威西部的一户人家里,当主妇打开水龙头想洗碗时,却发现水管里哗哗流出的竟然是价格不菲的啤酒。这是怎么回事呢?

A woman thought she was in heaven (天堂) when beer instead of water flowed (流淌)from the taps in her apartment in west Norway(挪威).

“I turned on the tap to clean some knives and forks and beer came out,” Haldis Gundersen told Reuters from her home in Kristiansund, west Norway. “We thought we were in heaven.”

Beer in Norway is among the most expensive in the world with a 0.4 litre (0.7 pint) costing about 50 crowns (4.3 pounds ) in a bar.

Gundersen said she tried the beer but it tasted a bit odd (古怪的) and was not fizzy(发泡的).

It turned out (查明真相) that a worker in a bar two floors below had mixed up the pipes(管子) on Saturday evening, wrongly (错误地)connecting a new barrel to a water pipe leading to Gundersens flat. The bar got water in its beer taps.
