Step1 、Warming-up.

1、课前播放歌曲:“We wish you merry Christmas”。

2、Free talk.

①T: Today, here are so many new English teachers in our classroom. Can you introduce yourself to the teachers?

T: What date is it today?

T: What holiday(节日)is coming?(Ss: Christmas)

(Unit 7 At Christmas)

T: When’s Christmas? (Ss: It’s on the 25th of December.)

②T: What do you know about Christmas?

(T:You can speak in Chinese.)

③T: What do people usually do at Christmas? (Ss: They usually eat delicious food.and give presents to each other.

Step2、Presentation and Practice

T: We know we can get some presents on Christmas day. And last year, on

Christmas day, I got a present from my friend Jack. Look, it’s a watch.

So we can say the watch is from Jack. It’s for me. It’s my watch. It’s mine.

2、Learning the whole text

Listen and answer(序言)

T: Now we know I got a Christmas present from my friend at Christmas. And Jim’s family got some presents, too. Now let’s look at the preface.

What holiday(节日) was it?

It was Christmas Day.

Who are they?

They are Jim’s family.

Where were they?

They were in Jim’s grandparents’ house.

What were they doing?

They were opening their presents under the Christmas tree.

Watch and circle(完整的看一遍课文卡通片,圈出Jim一家的礼物)

根据学生圈出的礼物,教师进行单词教学:a watch, a teapot and some tea, a wallet, a calculator, a skateboard, a hairdryer.

Read and match(快速阅读课文,将对应的人物、礼物进行连线。)

Whose...is it/are they? It’s/They’re...

Read and fill in the form(细读课文,完成表格内礼物来自于谁,然后根据例句造句)

Who is it/are they from? It’s/ They’re from…

如:The wallet is from Grandma. It’s for Grandpa. It’s his.

The teapot and some tea are from Grandpa. They are for Grandma. They’re hers.

Step3、Consolation

Read after the T sentence by sentence.

Fill in the blanks (Do a summary of the text)

A calculator and a skateboard are from Mum and Dad. They are _____ Jim. They’re _____. The watch is for father. The hairdryer is for mother. Everybody is very excited.

Step4、Write a letter

We know that I got a watch from my friend Jack last year. This year, on Christmas day, I want to send some presents to Jack’s family, too. Let’s look at Jack’s family photo.

Dear Jack, ’s for you. It’s ’

’s for your wife(妻子)。It’’ ’s for your son. It’’

Merry Christmas!

Sincerely yours,

Kitty

Step5、Homework

1. Read and act the dialogue.

Part A Read and Say。

1. 三会掌握单词:first, a term, each other, a building, table tennis room。

I’m not sure./Let’s go and see./Let’s go andhave a look.

2.四会掌握单词:day, a reading room, all, sure。

句型:Are there any reading rooms in the building?/Is there a table tennis room?Yes, there is./Are there any computer rooms?Yes, there are.

1. 能听得懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词:day, all, a reading room, sure, a garden, a house, a flower。

Is there a/an...?Yes, there is./No, there isn’t.

Are there any...?Yes, there are./No, There aren’t.

How many...are there...?There’s/There are...

Unit 1“The First Day at School”。

Step 1

1.Greetings. (略)

2.T:Hi, boys and girls.Welcome back to school.

There is a newstudent.

Welcome to our school...

S:Hi, Lisa.

Step 2

T:This is our new school.Look, there are five buildings in the school.

S:Yes.There are some toilets in our school.

T:Great. You’re great. How many toilets are there in the school?

S:There are six (.../I’m not sure.)

1.Reading room.

2.Are there any...?Yes, there are./No, there aren’t.Is there a...?Yes, there is./No, there isn’t.

3.Building, table tennis room, I’m not sure./Let’s go and see.

T:Look!This is a new building

Is there a reading room in it?Yes, it is.How many reading rooms?I’m not sure.Let’s go and see./Let’s have a look. There are two.

4.A table tennis room.

Step 4

Step 5

1.Copy the new words.

2.Read the text and try to recite.

Five-minute activities

2、培养学生活动的组织能力和语言表达能力以及书面写作能力;

Five-minute activities

Five-minute activities

Star signs are very interesting just for fun, our students must want to know more about them, next some of our students will bring us a wonderful star sign show. Let’s welcome them.

什么 动词be(am , is , are)形容词比较级 than(比)什么 ,如:

i’m taller and heavier than you.(我比你更高和更重。)

an elephant is bigger than a tiger.(一只大象比一只老虎更大。)

many / much(原形)– more(比较级)– most(最高级)

little / few(原形)– less(比较级)– least(最高级)

good(原形)– better(比较级)– best(最高级)bad(原形)– worse(比较级)– worst(最高级)far(原形)– further– furthest 附加:形容词的最高级变化类似于比较级,只是把词尾的er改成est,如:

tall(原形)-taller(比较级)-tallest(最高级)

long(原形)-longer(比较级)-longest(最高级)big(原形)-bigger(比较级)-biggest(最高级)

典型错误:my hair is longer than you.(我的头发比你更长。)

应该改为:my hair is longer than yours.或my hair is longer than your hair.

i’m as tall as you.(我和你一样高。)

my feet are as big as yours.(我的脚和你的一样大。)

一、从方框中选出合适的单词完成句子 heavy tall long much many big(1)how is the yellow river?(2)how is mr green? he’s 175cm.(3)how are your feet? i wear size 18.(4)how is the white t-shirt? it’s 100 yuan.(5)how apples are there in the bag? there are 5.(6)how is the fish? it’s 2kg.

在牛津英语7A Unit 1中, 学生写作的话题是“This is me. 接下来, 就要求学生按照上述的几个方面去仿写“This is me./This is my friend/father/mother/family.”

牛津英语7B Unit 5的Reading A里介绍了a brave young man (一个勇敢的年轻人) 。
